dc.description.abstract Climate is one of the key parameters in the earth's environment. Climate is usually defined as the average weather and in broad sense, it is the statistical description in terms of the mean and variability of relevant quantities over a period of time ranging from months to thousands or millions of years. Human activities that could possibly change the climate include as a result of emission of gases in the atmosphere, industrial activities, development of extensive cities, pollution of water ways and cities, creation of thousands of dams and lakes, conversion of grassland or forest to cropland, agricultural activities. en_US
