Abstract:
Climate change has become a global menace in this century. In fact whole world is severely affected with its dreadful effects which were not observed in past decades. It has been scientifically accepted that amongst the other reasons due to man's intervention for his selfness, abrupt changes which are harmful for living organisms have been developed. As a consequence or unplanned industrialization and urbanization, deforestation, followed by increase in concentration of toxic gases in atmosphere have been globally observed which in turn pollute the environment Fourth Report of international institute, IPCC has clearly indicated that if man's intervention will not be stopped then it will plunge in great problem for survival of organisms. This climate change will affect water and hydrological cycles and will enhance onset of flood, famine and drought, availability of surface and ground water resources. This will also have an adverse effect on socio-economic aspect. It has been estimated that developing countries as a result of climate change may have to take crisis of water and foodgrains and also healthy life. This problem may be more acute in country like ours whose economy is agriculture dependent. Therefore, immediate attentions are required to save human beings and environment.
