Removal of organics and colour from the wastewater of denim industry

Abstract

Textile industry consumes considerable amount of water for dyeing finishing and sizing. The waste water from the manufacturing facility is high in color (10000-15000 Pt Co), COD 2000-5000 mg/L), TDS (7000-9000mg/L), and TSS (1000-2000 mg/L).
