dc.description.abstract	Because of growing demand of computers in the field of Hydrology, large number of softwares for hydrological as well as general pourpose applications are available. These softwares are required to be used for different applications. But since the information about the capabilities/requirements of these softwares are not available at a central place, it is very difficult to select an appropriate software for appropriate application at appropriate time. In this Directory an attempt has been made to bring brief details about the softwares for hydrological as well as general purpose application available in the Institute. The brief detail about the capabilities of the software including hardware, software and input requirement and output have also been provided.	en_US
