Abstract:
The present study , provides an introduction to the concept
representative basin studies and gives a detailed account of current status of the representative basins of the hard rock
region, viz : , Malaprabha and Ghataprabha comprising basin char-
acteristics ( i.e ., soil, geology, landuse pattern , geomorphol-
ogy) ,basin input and output parameters.
