dc.description.abstract | Inter basin transfers imply large investment, technological challanges trade off between various objectives, political concensus, mechanism of equitable distribution of costs and benefits and a host of other issues. Some proposals made for interlinking of rivers and transfer of water from one basins to other have been discussed in this paper.
