Abstract: Hydrometeorological studies are essential to assess the water balance of a watershed, for planned development and management of its water resources. Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency, has carried out water balance studies in different hydrogeological and ag.ro-climatological regions of Maharashtra, to assess groundwater recharge from rainfall. The present paper deals with a case study of water balance in WadZire, low rainfall watershed of Ahmednagar district,Maharashtra.
