Automated data processing using high speed computers has immense potential for handling large volume of hydrologic data in a quick and economic way. In India, a large number of agencies are involved in collection of hydrological and meteorological data. As there is no proper inventory of the data, in the present system there is a possibility of the repetition in data collection. To avoid this, it is necessary to store the collected data by different agencies at one place in the processed and systematic form which can be useful for users. In the present report, a menu driven, user-friendly software has been developed to handle all type of hydrological and meteorological data. The main objective of this software is preparation of hydrological data book in a form most valuable to the users.en_US
