Title: INCOH/SAR-18/99-Frontier areas of research in hydrometeorology
Authors: Subramaniam, A. R.
Keywords: Hydrometeorology
Issue Date: 1999
Publisher: National Institute of Hydrology
Series/Report no.: INCOH/SAR-18/99;
Abstract: Hydrometeorology is the science that deals with the waters of the Earth, their occurrence, circulation and distribution and their interaction with the environment. The report gives hydrometeorlogical research work and specific areas in which future studies should be taken up. While it is not claimed to be comprehensive, efforts have been made to compile information relating to work done in major Institutions in India, where hydrometeorlogical research work is being done. Further both in research publications and in the reports supplied by various institutions, work relating to hydrometeorology & hydrology has been mixed up. While every attempt has been made to sort out hydrometeorlogical work it is possible that some work in hydrology is also included as it has relevance to work on hydrometeorology.
