Abstract: The purpose of the programme is (1) to transform the given independent and homogeneous annual maximum peak flood series to near normal distribution using Box-Cox transformation and (2) to perform frequency analysis on this near normally distributed series using method of moments for estimating 50,100,200,500,1000, and 10000 years return period floods using two approaches viz.,(a) based on the criteria of coefficient of skewness is nearly zero and (b) based on the criteria that coefficient of skewness is nearly zero and coefficient of kurtosis equal to 3.0. The documentation describes in brief the methodology adopted for transformation and necessity for correction of kurtosis of the transformed series. The programme is written in FORTRAN-IV. The input variable and input card description are detailed in the documentation. The documentation also lists the example input and the output generated by the programme.
